Belongs in the Heritage range where Longines preserves curiosities made during its 175 year history: Models that were in their days exceptionally successful. Longines has not forgotten them -- even after many years -- and has offered them in a form brought delicately up to the present time. The Lindbergh Original watch is among them. The technical data that assisted the aviators in their orientation during flight have retained their place on the bezel and dial. A substantial round crown allowed for adjustment without the removal of gloves, and the use of a mineral crystal was a reasonable compromise between the unscratchable but fragile sapphire and the unbreakable but scratchable hesalite. All these elements are still present in the current model. This model has collectors' value.
