Jaermann & Stübi

Swiss master watchmakers create the movement and golf counter complication of every Jaermann & Stübi watch in the tradition of the 19th century but with today's technology and tools. Each watch is entirely handmade in the smallest series in the watchmaking valleys of the Jura.

Jaermann & Stübi watches are automatic mechanical and have a particularly durable Caliber A10 movement which has a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement has a central-led second hand and can be wound either manually or automatically. Belonging to the chronometer class, it is borne by 25 jewels with shock absorbers.

Eagle HeartThe durable movement and golf counter complication are protected not only by an anti-shock device but also by the stainless steel, titanium or 18 carat gold case. Sealed with a scratch-proof sapphire glass that's 1.8 millimeters thick, the case is secured by eight screws. It is also waterproof up to 100 meters.

The Jaermann & Stübi watch has a leather strap. But since leather isn't always the perfect material-especially in the summer-the inner band is made from a synthetic material that absorbs humidity. The Strap has a folding buckle so that putting on and taking off the watch is more comfortable and so that the watch falls off less easily. This kind of band also reduces the amounts of folds in the leather and thus a premature aging. Now also available in rubber.

Urs Jaermann is the first to admit that he is not an expert golfer. If he was, he might never have developed the Jaermann & Stübi golf watch. As an average player, counting strokes tends to interfere with concentration on the game. This inspired an innovation.

St Andrews LinksWith Urs' dislike of keeping score, combined with his love for watches, the idea of Jaermann & Stübi was born. And ten years later it became a reality.

Pascal Stübi and Jaermann met at a communication strategies lecture. With Stübi's experience creating watches and Jaermann's dream, they found that they had a similar vision of creating a golf watch made in Switzerland.
