Ebel

ebel tarawaMany watchmaker's companies bear the names of their founders. This is equally true for the Ebel Company - but in this case the brand name comes from the concatenation of the initial letters of the names of two persons - Eugen Blum and [Et] Alice Levy. This watchmaker's company was founded in the Swiss La Chaux-De-Fonds in 1911 and as early as a year later introduced its first product.
Ebel's criteria of quality
It was obvious from the beginning that the company didn't intend to just copy older models, but not to ignore them either. The result is a modern, imaginative and nevertheless elegant design. The elements typical for Ebel and especially for the Classic Wave and the 1911 ranges are five screws on the hexagonal case. The proof of both the creative and technological achievement are the actual mechanical movements.
The criteria of quality represent for Ebel the most important values. Starting with components and materials selection and ending with the actual watch completion - each task is a subject of strict and systematic testing by watchmaker experts. Only the company that is fully committed to its products' quality can offer its customers a 5-year warranty for all of its collections.
The yearly production is divided into five model ranges: 1911, Classic Wave, Beluga, Beluga Manchette and Satya.
Ebel 1911

ebel 19111911 - This range originates in 1986, but only in a men's size. The design was modified in 2001 and finally a version for the gentle sex was introduced. The anniversary model 1911 (named after the year when the Ebel brand was founded) has three sizes: Lady, Senior and Chronograph. Most of the chronographs bear the COSC (Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres) certificate.
Classic Wave
Classic Wave -- This range saw the light of day in 2001. The case is hexagonal in the distinctive "Ebel-like" mode, but contrary to its predecessor - the Sport Classic range - the design is softened and more rounded. Naturally, the typical wave-shaped case that smoothly transitions into a wristband with a folding clasp cannot be absent. This range exists in four variants: Mini, Lady, Senior, and Chronograph. The quality Swiss movement, a sapphire crystal and the ability to withstand up to five atm of pressure are a matter of course.
Beluga
Beluga - Timelessness. Just this word can express the allure of these, solely ladies', watches. Bewitching glossy curves, comfort, an appealing lightness ... the sensual beluga can always capture the attention of the lady's heart. Brilliant models, and the rose and green colors of the dial, and original materials such as hematite and lepidolite ... that's the Beluga.

ebel beluga manchetteBeluga Manchette - The Beluga Manchette model range is a good example of an unorthodox design. The ground is the placement of the watchcase in two collinear steel "cuffs". In combination with the variable color of the dial, it represents a maximally original rendition of the watch's look.
Satya
Satya - An oval or a square case itself doesn't represent anything revolutionary; but the combination of these two shapes does. Integrating both into a single shape with a gap revealing the leather strap or wristband results in an ingeniously spectacular rendition. The model range Satya is also dedicated only to woman. It is produced in the Mini and the Lady variant with cases made of yellow and white gold.
