Chaumet - Class one 39mm

In 1998 Chaumet introduced the first diving watch from Place Vendome. The Class One, a bold combination of steel, diamonds and rubber. A jeweler's masterpiece.
It rapidly became one of the firm's major successes. Now Chaumet is offering a new interpretation of this watch that is an icon of both design and technology.
The class One has evolved into an automatic watch for the large models.
A timepiece true to the concept of the original Class One with its wide bezel pierced by straight, solid horns that reinforce its sporty, hight-tech image.
One-half of the back is engraved with horizontal lines evoking the stages of decompression while the other half reveals part of the movement.
The bezel has 12 wide grooves. Stronger and even more affirmed, it ensures excellent legibility when diving.
The dial with a sunburst finish displays the hours, minutes and seconds in the center and the date in a display at 6 o'clock set against a screened background combining waves and vertical stripes.
The hands are pointed, "baton" type and the Superluminova Arabic numerals emit a blue light in the dark. While accentuating its technical features, the new Class One preserves all the original elegance and refinement through its various details and through the color-play of the bezel, dial and bracelet.
Adorned with diamonds on the bezel and dial, it is both an urban Haute Joaillerie watch and a chic sports watch.
